Who we are……

We are two sisters, Tracey and Paula, who are exploring ways to integrate our love of the environment into our art. Our work is often linked to our love for the natural world, with landscapes, wildlife, plants, and the changing seasons key themes. We are looking at how we can take this further by starting a dye garden and making inks and paints from foraged plants and earth pigments. To minimize waste, we are continuing to use our existing supplies while gradually incorporating natural materials into our artwork.

Tracey

As a recent artist, I focus on nature, including landscapes, plants, animals, and the weather. Though I currently use purchased items, I aim to transition to natural products. I am creating traditional paints, ink, paper, and brushes made from foraged or recycled natural materials.

Paula

I've painted abstract works with acrylics for most of my life. My humanitarian aid experience has heightened my awareness of climate change and plastic use, prompting me to rethink my art materials. Lately, I've been exploring watercolours, focusing on landscapes, wildlife, and the seasons.
